Bravery Through Play

We are a community of improv fans and advocates working to develop opportunities and online resources that explore how improvisational comedy training can support mental well-being. Our focus is on using the principles and practices of improv to help people experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic loneliness, and other mental health challenges.

Improvisational activities aren’t just about having fun — research shows that improv training can reduce social anxiety, improve confidence, build creativity, and strengthen community-based support skills.

This site provides information about our projects, ongoing programs, apps under development, and support resources about “improv as a supportive tool for emotional health.”

We believe that laughter is only the second-best remedy: the best is the joy and confidence that comes from making others laugh and having fun together while doing it.
